The newest Roasterie is a partnership with UMB Bank.
“We are thrilled to continue expanding The Roasterie brand in Kansas City,” said Isaac Hodges, president of The Roasterie. “As Kansas City’s coffee company, we take great pride in caffeinating our community. Each Roasterie location is unique and special to us, and this new addition will be no different.”
In addition to its robust lineup of signature drinks, blends, and merchandise, the new location will also sell a variety of Ibis Bakery goods and grab-and-go snacks. The café is now open to the public seven days a week and will feature an indoor seating area and an outdoor patio, with combined seating for up to 22 guests. The café will be accessible from its own designated entrance in addition to the entrance inside the UMB branch.
To continue the celebration, on September 8, The Roasterie will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales at this location to Nurture KC, one of the thirty organizations selected as a beneficiary for its 30th Anniversary celebration. Nurture KC is a non-profit organization working to reduce infant death and improve family health across the Kansas City metro area.
“Nurture KC, an organization dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies in Kansas City, relies on the support of our community,” said Tracy Russell, executive director at Nurture KC. “We appreciate The Roasterie’s commitment to give back, reflecting the heart of our city and the shared mission to positively impact families’ lives.”
Since the café’s humble beginnings thirty years ago, The Roasterie has grown to have multiple locations and its own roasting facility in Kansas City. For the last three decades, The Roasterie has grown alongside Kansas City, and this location will not be the only addition to their café lineup in 2023. Kansas Citians can expect another new Roasterie location at Children’s Mercy Broadway coming Monday, August 28.
